Hey everyone. How's it going. I'm currently working on a project and thought I would join this site. So, I am building a reverse trike. Don't know what a reverse trike is. It's basically a t-rex. Except my own personal design. I will be running an 85 sabre vf700. I want to run a turbo as well.(twins?) Anyway I have the motor already and I have a rolling chassis. (pics coming soon) The bike frame is from an 80some honda 500 dirtbike. The only reason I went with this frame is because I got it for free from a guy I know. Obviously the engine won't fit so I am fabricating a new engine compartment. I will probably be using 1" pipe for this the same thickness I use to build buggy frames. Any advice? Also I 'm looking for some parts. Carbs, starter, etc. I have the entire exhaust, back tire, some coils, and the engine which I picked it all up for $250. Well let me know any questions or comments you have, I'll post pics as soon as I can get them.

My nephew crashed his GSXr750 and cracked the frame below the tank on the right side.

He decided to do what you are doing, using a Mustang front-end.

He has the entire frame built, and is just waiting to finish up the brakes.

One of the hardest parts of his project was fastening the main frame to the bikes' steering head.
His custom frame extends back to the rear of the engine/transmission, but he designed it so the engine could still be removed, if needed, and of course, room for oil changes and all.

I think before he is done with it, he will probably need to mount some serious rubber on the rear.

I'll try and take some pictures for you this weekend.
